The workplace regulations places the responsibility to provide washroom facilities in the workplace firmly on employers.

Sanitary disposal regulation 21
''In the case of washrooms used by women suitable means should be provided for the disposal of sanitary dressings'' -
Air fresheners regulation 25
''Suitable means should be taken to prevent odours from lingering in washrooms and from entering other rooms'' -
Air cleaning regulation 25
''Rest areas shall include arrangements to protect smokers from the discomfort caused by tobacco smoke'' -
Hand soap regulation 21
''Washrooms must be equiped to include soap or other means of hand washing'' -
Hand drying regulation 21
''Washrooms must be equipped with suitable means for hand drying'' -
Toilet tissue regulation 21
''Washrooms must be equipped with a holder or dispenser for the provision of toilet paper''
